Sports are deeper than what you and i think it is !


Doing some physical improvements is great but not enough because sooner or later you mental health will hit you for not taking care of it !


How can i take care of my mental health in sports?

Steps:

  1. Track your thoughts.

  2. Write them down if needed like you write your PR numbers.

  3. If you knew your thoughts were lazness or disappointments or boredom or getting distracted by other or other thoughts, congratulations now you know where is the problem and it’s time to fix it

  4. work on them by some mental health workouts to get out of it and make you fall inlove with the process again.

  5. keep doing it till you are back to "wants to work more"


Examples for the mental health workouts:

  • Read about what top athletes do in their daily routines.

  • Sit with your coach and discuss new workout routine.

  • If you were only paying attention to your physical activities then it’s time to make some time for your Mind and soul activities.

  • Write down the reasons that made you start training, the reason you want to achieve your goals and how much it took from you to be who you are now.

  • Write at least 5 points of things you love in your sport and how it makes you feel (before, during, after) your workout.


There are so many other mental health workouts for Athletes but those what i gathered from some strong athletes out there, if you know other new trick send it to me so i can add it.
